BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach told 'no' as she reveals moment she got show place for first time

Ellie Leach has been flooded with compliments as she shared a fresh selfie to social media while also revealing the moment she was confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing for the first time.
The actress revealed how it's been a year since she got the call confirming her place in the BBC One dance contest for 2023. In the video, Ellie could be seen laying down as she spoke directly to the camera about here exciting news, without revealing exactly what it was.
She giggled before she was heard saying of the phone call, which came before her final scenes aired as Faye Windass in Coronation Street: "I have had the best, best, best, best news ever!" before letting out a little scream. "I'm so excited," she added with a huge smile across her face.

Ellie, 23, then shared a clip of the moment Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced months later that she and her dance partner Vito Coppola had been crowned the Strictly 2023 champions and they lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy.
"A whole year ago today I found out I'd be doing Strictly and 7 months later we lifted that Glitterball trophy," Ellie wrote alongside the video which seamlessly flowed from her own home video about the call to the moment millions watched her and Vito become Strictly champions. After adding a face holding back tears emoji, Ellie added: "Emosh!"
