BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas thanks fans as she shares cancer concern update

Shirley Ballas has thanked fans for their kind words of support as she shared an update after sharing worrying news about her health. Last week, the Strictly Come Dancing star shared a photo of herself on social media last week after undergoing a biopsy following a routine mammogram.
Shirley, who is the head judge on the BBC One dance contest, shared a picture in which she appeared to be showing a bandage on her chest. She explained: "Urging all women do not miss your mammogram. I went for mine. Ended up going for a second one and a biopsy. Local anesthetic biopsy done. Now waiting for results..."
Shirley later revealed she's had three biopsies and also says her biggest fear is that she will die before her 87-year-old mother, Audrey. She also told how their was a history of cancer in her family as Audrey was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018, but is now in remission, and Shirley’s grandmother, grandfather and aunt all had the disease.

But Shirley has now thanked those who supported her as she shared she'd received the all-clear for cancer. The 63-year-old shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday (April 30) as she shared her appreciation for the "well wishes".
Shirley wrote: "I am feeling blessed to share that my results have come back all clear there is no cancer present Sharing the picture to my story last week very much triggered my emotions, but I feel it’s only right for me to share both the highs and the lows of life.
