Gary Goldsmith made his stance clear during his short stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house. He was quizzed on his niece, Kate Middleton, following her absence from the public spotlight.
The Princess of Wales has been recovering in Windsor from abdominal surgery and suspended from Royal duties. Although Gary was the first housemate booted out of the ITV show, he managed to hint towards his dislike of Prince Harry and Meghan.
He has now opened up in a new interview following his exit from Big Brother, and made his thoughts on the Duke of Sussex clear saying he should 'give up' his Royal title.
“I don’t think you throw your family under the bus and expect to be invited round for Christmas," Gary told GB News. "There's a certain amount of arrogance and naivety to this whole episode that just doesn't ring true.
“I would prefer him to be magnanimous and give it up because when he does come back, people loved Harry, he had the best job in the world. He had an opportunity to do the good of his choice. The Invictus Games is amazing. But give yourself an option to catch your breath and come back when the time is right. I'm not sure he will be a married man when he does.”
He also praised his niece Kate Middleton for her role in the institution as the Princess of Wales, saying she’s doing “a brilliant job”. He told Nigel Farage: “I think she's got the best support infrastructure on the planet. And she's got the best people looking after her. I just don't understand all this stuff at the moment because it doesn't really play out.
