Following his eviction from Celebrity Big Brother on Friday, Gary Goldsmith sent a message to his niece Kate, Princess of Wales, and sister Carole Middleton this morning. Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday, 11 March, with Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, the businessman addressed the ongoing Mother's Day photo editing saga and described Kate as an "absolute treasure".
The younger brother of Carole was evicted from the CBB house on Friday, 8 March, and was appearing on GMB to discuss his experience on the show, while he was also asked about the ongoing speculation surrounding the "kill notice" applied to the photograph of Kate, which was released by Kensington Palace yesterday. The photograph - which features the Princess of Wales, 42, and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, in Windsor - was issued by the Palace but later withdrawn by various photo agencies over concerns it was "manipulated".
When businessman and podcast host Gary was asked if he had a message to send to Kate and Carole, Gary said: "Well I love them very much.
There's something about that picture that's beautiful and they should be very proud of that. My sister is...we're very similar people...she's an absolute rockstar.
"So to my family.... really proud of what you're doing, and Kate is an absolute treasure so we're very lucky to have her." Susanna and Ed pressed Gary on whether he'd spoken to his sister since his eviction, and he said it had been a "whirlwind" since Friday night, and he hadn't "had a chance really to speak to anybody".
The presenters also asked him what he thought his family would make of his time on the show, and about "the number of times you mentioned Kate." "Apparently it was quite a lot," he said.

Kensington Palace, with many confused by Kate Middleton’s whereabouts. The wife of Prince William has not made an official public appearance since Christmas Day. On January 16, the palace stated that she had been admitted to the London Clinic for “planned abdominal surgery.”With jokes, conspiracies, and discourse taking over social media surrounding the situation, things got more confusing on March 10th when the Prince and Princess of Wales social media accounts shared a photo of her with their children George, Charlotte, and Louis.Things quickly went awry when people noticed it was edited.
Kate Middleton's Mother's Day photo has caused a royal crisis, with a friend saying it was meant to be a 'simple family snap'. Kensington Palace was thrown into turmoil when the Princess of Wales was forced to publicly apologised for altering a family picture that was shared globally.
Kate Middleton’s photo-editing fiasco has accidentally done more harm than good in silencing mass speculation about her well-being, according to a former royal butler. The Princess of Wales, 42, who has been recovering from abdominal surgery behind closed doors, was forced to issue an apology after releasing a doctored family photo for UK’s Mother’s Day on Sunday. But with mounting chatter about the royal’s post-surgery recovery, the image’s release has ended up causing concerns, says King Charles’s former butler Grant Harrold.“Of course, it does cause concern because everybody is over-analyzing it at the moment and everybody is worried about her and is looking to see for any kind of signs,” Harrold, who worked as the monarch’s butler for seven years when he was the Prince of Wales, exclusively told The Post.“If it hadn’t been for her taking this time out, the photo editing really wouldn’t have been much of a story,” he said.
Kate Middleton's Mother's Day photo has caused a bit of a stir in the Royal family, with a friend saying it was meant to be just an 'innocent family photo'. The Princess of Wales had to say sorry after she edited a family snap that was shared all over the world. The picture, which showed Kate hugging her three kids at their home in Windsor, was changed a bit by the future queen. She said sorry for the "confusion" about the changed photo, which made the biggest photo agencies in the world remove it from their libraries that millions of people use.
Princess of Wales issued an apology for any “confusion” sparked by the image, saying: “I do occasionally experiment with editing.”Prior to Kate’s confession, online sleuths raised questions about several odd aspects of the photo that showed the smiling British royal surrounded by her children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.The world’s leading news agencies reacted to the controversy by swiftly yanking the image over doctoring fears. One major tell-tale sign of manipulation was that a portion of Charlotte’s wrist seems to be missing from under the chopped-off sleeve of her cardigan.“It looks like a bad Photoshop job,” Dr Hany Farid, a professor of computer sciences at the University of California Berkeley, told The Telegraph.Charlotte’s checkered skirt likewise does not line up, with the right edge sticking out at a strange right angle and overlapping with George’s hands.Additionally, a green line seen on Charlotte’s left leg clad in tights appears to suggest it has been airbrushed.Another unusual detail that raised questions about the image’s veracity is Prince Louis’s crossed fingers on his right hand — and a seemingly fuzzy and broken pattern on the right sleeve of his gray sweater. It has also been noted that the table next to which the youngster is standing appears to have a distorted edge. The Palace should release the unedited photo of Kate & the kids asap.
