A gardening expert has shared a genius life hack that they use to pot their new plants for the summer season - which is perfect for those who don't like to make a mess.
The man, who goes by @joesgarden on TikTok, shared the video to his 1.6 million followers back in 2022 that has wowed people who tend to make a mess when potting new plants.
The video, which boasts 845,000 views, garnered 96,000 likes and over 1,000 comments with people praising the simple trick.
In the video, the expert places a plant inside its new pot while keeping the original pot around the roots of it. He then added soil around the new plant until it is filled to the top.
Then , he pulls the plant out and shows the soil that now has an empty square in the middle. He takes the plant out of the original pot and places it in its new home, patting the soil around it.
Viewers flocked to the comments section of the video to share their enjoyment at this life hack as one wrote: "That’s so satisfying!"
Another said: "Love that I saw this the day AFTER repotting my 14 house plants."
A third added: "Thanks for the hack. I’m gonna start doing that instead."
And a fourth noted: "Genius!"
