A missing hillwalker and dog has sparked a huge emergency response in the Highlands.

A former hotel has deliberately been set alight as police have launched a probe into the incident.
Emergency services rushed to the Royal Hotel on Normand Road in Dysart, Kirkcaldy at 3.11pm on Tuesday, February 15.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) immediately dispatched two fire engines to the three-storey building.
Firefighters wearing breathing equipment managed to extinguish the blaze and there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
Police Scotland confirmed that the fire is being treated as wilful and that enquiries to establish its full nature are ongoing.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.11pm on Tuesday, February 15, to reports of a fire within a three-storey building in Normand Road, Dysart, Kirkcaldy.
“Operations control immediately mobilised two fire engines to the location and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire.
“Crews left the scene once the area was made safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a fire at a premises in Townhead, Drysart, Kirkcaldy, around 3.25pm on Tuesday, 15 February, 2022.
“Emergency services attended and there were no reports of any injuries.
“The fire is currently being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
