Cristiano Ronaldo could make a sensational WWE debut in Saudi Arabia, according to reports.
The Portuguese superstar had front-row seats next to Conor McGregor and former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand last weekend as Tyson Fury edged out a controversial points decision against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. As one of the first high-profile names to make the move to the Middle East, Ronaldo has become a face for sport in the Gulf state.
His priority remains trying to leapfrog Riyadh rivals Al-Hilal at the top of the Saudi Pro League but he could make an appearance in the WWE in the future, it has been claimed. A report from Relevo claims Ronaldo was in talks to feature alongside wrestling legend John Cena at the Crown Jewel event this coming weekend.

The show is one of the brand's flagship events as it has become the centrepiece of WWE’s 10-year partnership in support of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a plan to diversify the country’s economy away from oil. A star-studded line-up will perform at the Mohammed Abdu Arena on Saturday but will not feature Ronaldo.
That is because Al-Nassr, also home to Aymeric Laporte and Sadio Mane, are set to face Al Khaleej on the same day. But the report also suggests Saudi chiefs are keen to get Ronaldo involved with the WWE at a later date.
The world’s biggest wrestling organisation is synonymous with celebrity names from outside the industry making a cameo appearance. Notable one-off showings in the past include Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, Wayne Rooney and even former US president Donald Trump.
