The former This Morning host has apparently won over audiences following her return to screens on ITV's re-boot of the reality show. Fern now plans to become a regular fixture again on television following her successful stint.
Fern and Phil, who both hosted This Morning in the noughties together, had a huge falling out according to reports in the Mirror. The mum-of-four quit the breakfast show back in 2009 following rumours her co-host was getting paid £250,000 more than her.
The breakdown of their relationship has been no secret over the years since, with both making savage digs at one another. Neither of them have confronted the issue as to why they actually fell out, although Fern says it wasn't the money.
Now Fern is said to be planning a “big TV comeback”, with a source telling Bella magazine: “She’s desperate to do her own chat show and is already in talks with TV networks. Celebrity Big Brother has done her the world of good. The public forgot how likeable she is, but the show has given her that new lease of life.
“It’s no secret she was treated badly before, and it put her off doing TV again, but now she feels ready to be back on screens. She’s warm, caring and fun – all the things TV producers look for in a host. Now Phillip isn’t in the picture any more, she can get her ultimate revenge and be a success on TV once again!”
