The hearing at Bolton Coroner's Court on Wednesday (October 25) heard how he 'lost control' of the bike at a bend in the road shortly after travelling at speeds of around 60mph. Paramedics and bystanders rushed to his aid, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"Today's inquest was a slight insight of Charlie’s life, and we want to say Charlie was loved by many, including his mum, dad, son, partner, sister and extended family and friends," they wrote. "Charlie could light the room up with just his smile and he was certainly one of a kind.
"Charlie was a hard worker and took any task he was given and would smash it. Charlie’s son is growing up to just be like him and this brings the family some sort of comfort. He has left a hole in many hearts and will be missed by many."
They also thanked the witnesses and emergency services for their support alongside their friends and family.
