Smelling good is a great way to help you feel good with a little spray of perfume doing a lot.
But it can be trick to get the fragrance smelling fresh during hot weather, with the scent disappearing after an hour or so when it is warm outside. However, there are ways to make your perfume last longer in the heat, with experts sharing their top tips - including where to store your favourite bottle.
Perfume sample specialists at Parfumery listed some of their top tups to help you smell gorgeous all day long. The advice follows a warning that your scent could change purely based on whether it sits directly in the sunlight or in an area of humidity.
Therefore, one tip is to keep your fragrance in the fridge to help keep it cool which in turn helps maintain the aroma, reports Wales Online, with this enhancing any fresh notes in your perfume - such as lemon, mint, and bergamot.
The experts also suggest popping your perfume in a cool, dry place such as a cupboard in a cooler room.
You could also try matching your body lotion to your perfume to help keep up the scent, use petroleum jelly, or try layering your scents.
To help keep your perfume smelling fresh you could try using a small amount of petroleum jelly (Vaseline). Apply a little to your skin before applying the fragrance can help lock in the scent and leave you smelling good all day.
Hair mists and scents can also be used to accompany your everyday perfume as your hair is known to hold on to scents extremely well.
Try flipping your head over and spritzing your hair with an even coating of the scents through the lengths before leaving it for a couple of seconds to dry.
Another top tip is to try spraying your hairbrush with your perfume and running it through dry hair.
