CBS‘ summer schedule can be summed up in two words: “Big Brother.” The network will celebrate the 25th season of the beloved reality series with a 90-minute special on Wednesday, Aug. 2. Following the premiere, CBS will air episodes on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

According to a receipt – which has been shared widely across Twitter – the takeaway order was simply placed under the name of ‘Beyonce'.The pop sensation, who performed her second show on UK soil in Edinburgh as part of her Renaissance tour on Saturday, reportedly ordered nearly £2,000 worth of Nando's takeaway food.The tweet, which features the receipt for the order from Fountain Park’s Nandos, shows an order that consisted of 50 sunset burgers, 30 fino pittas, 30 butterfly burgers, 60 chicken pittas, 20 beanie burgers, and 10 chicken wings.

Conan Gray has released his first single of 2023 to kick off a “new era” – check out the Max Martin-produced ‘Never Ending Song’ below.‘Never Ending Song’ is the first track Gray has released since 2022’s ‘Superache’ and the lush, ‘80s inspired track was also co-written by Martin.“I hope you can feel the smiles we had on our faces making this song. Christopher Vourlias The anticipation surrounding Jonathan Glazer’s Holocaust drama “The Zone of Interest” was building long before it was tapped to compete at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Details about the Auschwitz-set film, which is loosely based on the novel by Martin Amis, have been kept under wraps, although no less a Cannes personage than festival director Thierry Fremaux described it as “quite a challenging film.” Glazer’s first movie since 2013 sci-fi fantasy “Under the Skin” is sure to be among the more talked-about films bowing on the Croisette. Filmed entirely in Poland and lensed by two-time Oscar nominee Łukasz Żal (“Ida,” “Cold War”), “Zone of Interest” is also a triumph for the Polish film industry. “The character, the genes of the film, they were here in Poland,” says Academy Award-winning producer Ewa Puszczyńska (“Ida,” “Cold War”), whose shingle Extreme Emotions shares producing credits with British producer James Wilson’s JW Films. “There is a lot of Polish soul…in this film.”

Lily Moayeri Primavera Sound, the 22-year-old music festival based in Spain, is more than a FOMO-inducing lineup kicking off Europe’s festival season. It’s a marriage between the festival and the cities in which it takes place. This used to be a monogamous relationship with its birthplace of Barcelona where the three-day festival is staged in the middle of town — uncharacteristic for an event that has a daily draw of over 80,000. Since 2012, however, Primavera became polyamorous, extending to a sister festival in Porto, Portugal with a pared down version of its signature Barcelona event. This year, Primavera pushes the boundaries of its polygamous liaisons by launching an almost identical version of its Barcelona festival (which falls on the first weekend in June) in Madrid a week later, the same weekend as the Porto festival.

Cannes Film Festival always knows how to make an entrance and, while questions still remain about whether the shaky global theatrical experience and China’s buying power will affect the festival (coupled with issues involving the festival’s online ticketing platform), it wasn’t evident on the red carpet. Johnny Depp's first film since his defamation trial got a seven-minute-long standing ovation at Cannes, as the film festival kicked off in France. The actor stars in historical drama Jeanne Du Barry as King Louis XV, alongside director Maiwenn, which opened the world-famous event on the French Riviera. It comes a year after he won a court case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, who wrote an op-ed claiming Depp was an abuser.

Johnny Depp fans gathered along the Croisette, shrieking and snapping photos of the embattled movie star as he graced the world’s most famous red carpet. “Jeanne du Barry,” which marks Depp’s first leading film role in three years, since ongoing legal battles with ex-wife Amber Heard stalled his Hollywood career, opened the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Depp recently won a defamation case in the U.S. against Heard, who was ordered to pay the star $10 million in damages, and is trying to mount a comeback. But the move has been criticized by some and embraced by others, including Cannes chief Thierry Fremaux, who said earlier in the festival “I also care about Johnny Depp as an actor.”

For starters, until a week ago, this was still going to be Linda Yaccarino’s Radio City Music Hall show. But with Yaccarino off running Twitter (“Ted” making a crack about the crazies now at Twitter earned the biggest inadvertent laugh of the morning), it was up to Mark Marshall, NBCU interim chairman, global advertising & partnerships, to make the pitch to advertisers. “In all of our conversations leading up today, regardless of client or category, there has been one constant…this is going to be a very important year for your businesses,” Marshall said, counting 32 pharma launches, 60 auto releases (including 46 electric vehicles) and over 100 movie releases (“which puts us back to pre-pandemic levels”) this year. “We know this is a competitive year. And here at NBCUniversal, we are built for these moments.”

Yossman The Eurovision Song Contest paid tribute to John Lennon during the grand final on Saturday night with a cover of “Imagine.” After all this year’s contestants had completed their performances and the phone lines opened for the public vote, a number of former contestants from previous years delivered a tribute to some famous Liverpudlian musical acts, including Lennon, former Spice Girl Mel C, Atomic Kitten and Gerry and the Pacemakers.Imagine iconic Eurovision alumni taking to the stage together… Oh wait, you don't have to! #Eurovision pic.twitter.com/v6iFWYNfrV Italian singer and former Eurovision contestant Mahmood opened the musical interlude – nicknamed the Eurovision All Stars – with a performance of Lennon’s “Imagine.” He was followed by Israeli winner Netta, who came first in the contest in 2018, performing “You Spin Me Around” by 1980s band Dead or Alive. Next came Daði Freyr from Iceland with “Whole Again” by late 1990s pop band Atomic Kitten, which had the entire auditorium singing along.

Yossman Catherine, the Princess of Wales, made a surprise appearance during the opening of the Eurovision Song Contest’s grand final on Saturday evening alongside Andrew Lloyd-Webber, rapper Ms Banks and last year’s Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra, who hail from Ukraine. The princess, who is married to Britain’s Prince William, appeared in a pre-recorded clip playing an instrumental version of Kalush Orchestra’s winning song “Stefania” on the piano, which she recorded in the Crimson Drawing Room of Windsor Castle earlier this month. The clip was part of a montage of different artists – including Lloyd-Webber and Ms Banks – who performed a version of the song alongside Kalush Orchestra themselves. Also featuring in the line-up were last year’s runner-up Sam Ryder, Ballet Black, Bolt Strings, and Joss Stone.

This year the Eurovision Song Contest is taking place right here in the UK. Liverpool is hosting the competition on behalf of last year’s winners Ukraine, who are unable to host the contest due to the war.
