Emmerdale's Julie star Emma Stansfield's life from Corrie role to family

Life in Emmerdale has never been without its drama, but in recent weeks, one character who appears to have been at the heart of it, is embittered wife Julie, played by Emma Stansfield, who is seeking justice for her husband Lloyd after he was attacked by Dan Spencer. As regular viewers will know, Lloyd had been harassing Dan’s young daughter Amelia in recent weeks, and even cornered the young mum in the salon after hoping to meet her.
Understandably this lead to a confrontation between Dan and Lloyd, with Dan punching him in a tense altercation, only for Lloyd to fall and hit his head on a rock - something which left him fighting for his life. As Lloyd remained in hospital, his wife began digging for answers and couldn’t bring herself to believe Dan and Amelia’s version of events, something which saw her hassling Amelia in the village, as she branded the youngster a liar and a t*rt.

Early Years Born Emma Thompson to Colin and Gill Thompson on 7 January 1978, the future star first began her life in Monmouth, a Welsh town on the border between England and Wales.
