Emmerdale divides fans as Charity and Caleb find solace in each other's arms

One week on since Caleb Miligan’s plan to steal Kim Tate’s fortune was rumbled by the entire Dingle clan, it’s safe to say that the long-lost son of Frank Tate and Faith Dingle hasn’t been the most popular person in the Emmerdale village. Who could blame them, when the scheming businessman had lied to his relatives, forced his gay son to marry Kim’s pseudo daughter-in-law and even thrown his brother’s farm under the bus as part of the deal.
Needless to say, this week, Caleb is still far from popular among the residents of the sleepy village of Emmerdale. Yet despite his attempts to build bridges with those he had wronged, the rural pariah has still been given the cold shoulder by many of the village residents, including those he calls family.
One person however, who hasn’t given him his marching orders is cousin Charity Dingle, who is also the mother of his nephew Noah. While Caleb’s drama has unfolded in recent weeks, Charity has been facing an arduous battle of her own as her new husband Mackenzie Boyd recently revealed he was the father of Chloe Harris’ baby boy Reuben.
Rocked by the news, Charity and Mack soon parted ways, but the jilted lover has been left reeling this week after Mack and Chloe decided to embark on a relationship together, right under her very nose. Hurt by the betrayal and seeking solace where she could, Charity soon found comfort in the arms of Caleb.
Initially bonding over who had the saddest life growing up, sparks soon flew between the pair as they shared an intimate moment together, something which soon took a very steamy turn. As soon as the scenes had aired, fans were quick to share their thoughts on the development, with many not sure what to think about a romance between the Dingle
