How well do you think you know Emmerdale? Well it's time to test your Dales knowledge with our fun-filled quiz! The popular Yorkshire soap has long held a place in our hearts, working its way up from humble beginnings to rapidly becoming one of Britain's major TV heavyweights. Originally billed as a three-month series, the much-loved show proved such a draw that more episodes were ordered.
Since then, Emmerdale has experienced more twists and turns than its winding Dales roads - including a famous name change and a whole array of fresh characters to keep things spicy. Many have gone on to become household names, from one of the best bad boys any soap has ever seen in Cain Dingle, through to the villainous Kim Tate and the altogether more pleasant and much-respected village vicar Ashley Thomas.
Plus where would the soap be without Emmerdale legends of yesteryear including the lovable Alan Turner, the ever-dependable Jack Sugden, and the none-more-iconic Seth Armstrong? But the question is: do you know your Dingles from your Tates, or your Glovers from your Thomas's? If you do then you're in the right place! Before you take the quiz, why not play against friends and family to see who gets the best scores? Let us know if you can get top marks in the comments section below. Good luck!
