‘Extraction 2’ Director Sam Hargrave Breaks Down One of the Movie’s Most Bone-Crunching Scenes: ‘Bad Things Happen’ (Video)

Extraction 2” (now streaming on Netflix), you know that it’s stuffed with even more edge-of-your-seat, bone-crunching, glass-breaking action. (It really is.) Chris Hemsworth returns as Tyler Rake, recovering from his seemingly mortal wounds in the first movie and taking on an even more death-defying mission. The stunts are bigger, the camerawork more dazzling (there a truly unbelievable prison break sequence captured as one unbroken take) and the choreography even more impressive. In fact, we were so impressed with “Extraction 2” that we had director Sam Hargrave (returning from the first film) walk us through one of the most impressive bits of action – a fight sequence that takes place in and on top of a glass-enclosed gym in an European high-rise.

Kimora Lee Simmons and Daughter Aoki Break Down in Tears Over Russell Simmons' Alleged Abusive Behavior

Kimora Lee Simmons and her daughter, Aoki, took to Instagram to shed light on Russell Simmons' alleged abusive behavior. The back-and-forth appears to have begun after their oldest daughter, Ming, wished Kimora a «Happy Father's Day» instead of Russell. The Def Jam Records co-founder took to Instagram to share a message that alleged Kimora was at fault for making it hard to be a father to his daughters. «Stop telling fathers they should have fought harder to see their children and start asking mothers why he had to fight at all,» Russell's post read. ET has reached out to Simmons for a comment. Taking to Instagram Live Monday, Kimora broke down in tears explaining how Russell has allegedly been verbally attacking her and her daughters and lying about the status of their family's relationship. Kimora claimed that Russell's gaslighting has been overlooked by fans and friends of theirs alike due to his «powerhouse» media mogul status. Kimora Lee Simmons discusses her ex Russell’s recent erratic behavior on IG live and how it’s affect the family.

Brett Goldstein and Theo James on ‘The White Lotus’ Blurring Reality and Being ‘F—ing Insane’ for Juggling ‘Ted Lasso’ and ‘Shrinking’ at Once

On their latest shows, Brett Goldstein and Theo James have created characters who unpeel deeper truths beyond their hunky appearances. Goldstein, who’s won two Emmys for portraying soccer player and coach Roy Kent on “Ted Lasso,” returned for the Apple TV+ comedy’s third season. (He’s also a co-creator and writer on “Shrinking,” about a therapist played by Jason Segel.) James joined the second season of HBO’s “The White Lotus,” set in Italy and from creator Mike White, as a chiseled, privileged vacationer. THEO JAMES: How did you end up writing for “Ted Lasso”? BRETT GOLDSTEIN: I’d done a pilot for Bill Lawrence. The pilot didn’t get picked up, but we stayed in touch, and he knew I was a writer as well as an actor. When people ask me for advice, I’m always like, there’s no magic phone call. It doesn’t happen. But I did get a magic phone call here, from Bill, out of the blue, saying, “I think you’d be good for this football show.”

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Elizabeth Olsen is currently on a break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and she’s definitely enjoying it. During a conversation with “The White Lotus” star Meghann Fahy as part of Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, Olsen got honest about not missing her Scarlet Witch days. “Do you miss doing Wanda?” Fahy asked. “No, I don’t,” Olsen responded. “I think it’s been almost 10 years of playing her. And I’ve loved it. And I think the reason why I am not calling Kevin Feige every day with ideas is because I’m really proud of what we were able to do. No Stunt Double Needed! ‘Schmigadoon’ Team and Jane Krakowski Break Down Impressive Acrobat Scene

Emily Longeretta Jane Krakowski had one musical number in Season 1 of Apple TV+’s “Schmigadoon!” and she performed it from behind the wheel of a cramped convertible. It wasn’t much of a stage, but the Emmy nominee and musical theater veteran used every inch of the leather interior to sell her wistful yet seductive song, eventually wedging her high heel into the steering wheel to steady herself for the climatic high note. The performance is proof that no number is too small for Krakowski. But series creator and Emmy-winning songwriter Cinco Paul wanted to give her more to do in Season 2, which puts the series’ central couple Melissa (Cecily Strong) and Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) on the seedy streets of Schmicago, inspired by 1960s and ’70s musicals like ”Chicago” and “Cabaret.”

How ‘White Lotus’ Composer Reimagined Themes for Second Season Through an Italian Lens

Lily Moayeri A theme song sets the tone for a series. This is certainly the case for HBO’s awards favorite, “The White Lotus,” which won an Emmy for “Aloha” last year. The jungle sounds, exotic tones, yodels and screams laid over percussive rhythms and high-pitched flutes became instantly identifiable and an echo of the contentious characters vacationing at the Hawaii-based titular resort. Considering how iconic “Aloha” became, changing the theme for the Sicily-based second season was a bold choice. Chilean Canadian composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer drew his original musical ideas from the script and from conversations with series creator Mike White. White “wanted the music to feel like it was boiling under these characters,” de Veer says from his studio in Montréal.
