Lola didn't grow up with Emma, and only met her biological mum for the first time recently. Yet when Emma spotted Jay chatting to a mystery woman – innocently – at Peggy's club, her first thought was to go back home and tell Lola that she couldn't trust her husband.

EastEnders fans have speculated about the identity of Ravi Gulati’s mystery crime boss as he put his stay-out-of-prison plan into action. In recent episodes of the popular BBC soap, Diane Parish’s Denise Fox scrambled to save her marriage to Scott Maslen’s Jack Branning after following Ravi, played by Aaron Thiara, to a hotel room for an affair. Barbara Windsor's widow Scott Mitchell has shared the moving words his late wife told him shortly before her death two years ago. The actor, 60, reflected on his grief in an interview with Best magazine and said it is now time for him to think about his future as Barbara would have wanted him to. EastEnders star Barbara, who was well-recognised for playing Peggy Mitchell, died in December 2020 at the age of 83 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh paid tribute to her EastEnders actor fiancee Toby-Alexander Smith to celebrate his birthday. Amy, who earlier opened up on their wedding plans, has played Tracey Metcalfe since 2014 alongside Emmerdale regulars such as Danny Miller, Matthew Wolfenden, and Charley Webb.
