EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street schedule for the week revealed

Tina O'Brien rose to fame since playing the well-known character of Sarah Barlow in Coronation Street who has been involved in some of the most iconic and dramatic storylines of the soap. Since her debut to Corrie in 1999, her character Sarah has followed the storylines of teenage pregnancy, the death of her boyfriend, a near murder by her stepfather, a turbulent relationship with Todd Grimshaw and his brother Jason - and also a tragic stillbirth.The actress took a long break from the cobbles in 2008 before delighting fans in 2015 when she returned to her role as Sarah. Although the character in Corrie has had more than enough drama, off screen Tina enjoys time with her husband and two children occasionally sharing snaps of their holidays on Instagram.

Princess Anne visited the set of Coronation Street on Monday 20 March to meet cast and members of the production team involved in the ITV soap's upcoming acid attack storyline. Her Royal Highness, 72, attended as Patron of The Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI), who have been advising the ITV soap's producers and writers.The Princess Royal also viewed some upcoming scenes before meeting with Producer Iain MacLeod, as well as cast members Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley, Ryan Prescott, who plays Ryan Connor, Andrew Still, who plays Justin Rutherford, and Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne.

This week is set to be a rather dramatic one for the residents of Weatherfield as this week's Coronation Street spoilers see Stephen's (Todd Boyce) reign of terror continue. After drugging Carla with LSD recently as "vile" revenge, Stephen has now taken over the Underworld Factory after the drugs caused her to drive the Underworld van into Paul Foreman. As her mental health continues to worsen as after taking time off work, Carla (Alison King) is now set to receive another blow as her husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) pays a visit to the factory only to find Stephen is now in control.

The Katie Piper Foundation has supported Coronation Street in understanding the "long-lasting impact" of an acid attack as the ITV soap explores the issue in an upcoming storyline. In a future episode, Daisy Midgeley, played by Charlotte Jordan, is getting ready for her wedding day at The Rovers Return when her stalker Justin Rutherford, played by Andrew Still, shows up in Weatherfield following his arrest.

Coronation Street fans found themselves in shock after a character left the soap this evening. Carla Connor, who is played by Alison King, left the cobbles on Friday after she was pushed to the edge by Stephen Reid’s plan to spike her with drugs to induce a breakdown. Stephen left himself into Carla’s flat while she was sleeping and put the oven on in an attempt to set it on fire and frame Carla.

Emmerdale took an emotional turn this week with fans in tears after a second male character confessed to attempting to take his own life. The hour-long episode was planned to highlight the importance of mental health awareness for men - and fans saw Paddy Kirk, who is played by Dominic Brunt, open up about how he attempted to take his own life following his split from Chas Dingle. As Paddy opened up about his struggles, he was supported by his friends and surrounded by the men of the village, who came together in a lock-in at their local, The Woolpack.

Coronation Street's Stephen Reid takes dark action against Carla Connor next week that could leave her dead. Fans of the ITV soap will be horrified to hear that the factory boss' life is in serious danger. In official spoilers released by ITV, Stephen is planning to make Carla his third victim having already murdered builder Leo Thompkins and his father Teddy.

Coronation Street have recast Jackson Hodge after six years as the character is set for a return, leaving Faye Windass in turmoil. Viewers will recall that Jackson is the father of Faye's daughter, Miley, who she gave birth to in 2015 when they were both teenagers. However, soon after Miley's Christening service, Faye struggled with being a young mum as the Hodge family offered to look after the youngster.

Coronation Street spoilers see Daisy Midgeley's stalking storyline take another terrifying turn as sinister Justin's dark link to her mother Christina is revealed. Only recently, Justin has been inflicting a terror campaign on Daisy after first meeting at hospital last year - and despite Daisy going to the police to report her stalker, they haven't taken her concerns seriously. In upcoming scenes, Daisy meets her mum, Christina, for lunch but when her mother introduces her new boyfriend...

Next week on Coronation Street Amy Barlow wakes up, hungover and with no memory of how she got into bed in harrowing scenes. In the garage, a hungover Aaron feels wretched.

Broadcaster Charles Foster has passed away after delighting audiences as one of the faces of the North West's Granada TV channel throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s.The veteran ITV staple, was also an accomplished actor with roles in the ITV dramas Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Crown Court. Most recently he had provided the voice over on ITV's Judge Rinder programme, having also previously worked on Catchphrase and The Krypton Factor. Immediately following the announcement of his sad death, tributes have flooded in from all around the country.

Next week, soap watchers will be disappointed to see Wednesday's episodes cancelled and instead replaced with football, which will be airing on both BBC One at 7:30pm and ITV at 7pm. While EastEnders will be cancelled again on Tuesday for the Match of the Day Live: The FA Cup which will air at 7:30pm with Emmerdale going back to its old time of 7pm so Live FA Cup Football can air 7:30pm.

According to a website description, Dexter and Jones stocks "more than 450 different craft beers, 10 draft beers (which are ever changing), more than 150 small batch gins and more than 60 different wines.
