The actress, who played Heather Trott on the hit BBC soap, took to Instagram to share details of her trip to A&E over the Easter weekend. She explained in a video: "I’ve just spent the last 24 hours in A&E. I’ve seen things in the last 24 hours that I cannot unsee.
I’ve been in complete agony." Cheryl, 58, didn't explain what had caused the pain but said she had been made "a million times better" and labelled all of the NHS staff "angels". She continued: "I wanna thank [the NHS] big time, when people say they don’t get paid enough, they don’t get paid enough! "We’ve got a broken system. It’s gone to pot, it’s shot, but it’s still amazing and we still have it, just, by a thread.
