EastEnders fans 'work out' identity of Christmas killer amid star's soap axe

EastEnders fans are unhappy as the soap has a schedule shake-up this week. Instead of airing four half-hour episodes Monday to Thursday, the BBC soap will be on for an hour on Tuesday and Thursday this week.The episodes will be split into two separate half-hour episodes and air at 7pm instead of the usual 7:30pm slot.

EastEnders surprised fans earlier this year by airing a flashforward clip teasing what's in store on the BBC One soap during the festive period, revealing that one Walford resident is set to be murdered in the Queen Victoria pub. The one-off teaser, which aired in February, showed six female characters - Sharon Watts, Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater and Linda Carter - standing around the dead body of a mystery male character in the iconic pub.

Former EastEnders star Charlie Clements has embarked on a new outdoor career that's worlds away from acting.The 36 year old once played Bradley Branning on the BBC soap, but his character was killed off in 2010, when he fell from the roof of the Queen Vic pub. Whist Charlie has still pursued acting, he's done it alongside a normal career, having been a chef, and more recently starting a totally different career - as a greenkeeper on a golf course. Bradley is a keen golfer himself - often posting snaps of himself playing the sport to Instagram, so it seems only natural that he decided to devote more of his time to the greens - and get paid for it.

Following Thursday night's episode of EastEnders, fans were left in fear for 12 year old Lilly Slater and her baby after Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) “manipulated” Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) amid his continued obsession with her. Cindy, played by Michelle Collins, hasn't been seen on the Square in 25 years, and many residents think that she is dead. However, she has been under witness protection for all of that time, and now is the time for her to return.

As EastEnders prepares to welcome back Walford legend Cindy Beale full time, the return of the character has sparked some serious questions among fans, specifically around her connection to Bobby Beale. In recent weeks, Bobby has been growing closer to newcomer Anna Knight, who moved in to the Queen Vic pub alongside her father George and sister Gina earlier this Summer.

EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier has revealed the bizarre way that he is preparing to become an "elegant" dancer on Strictly Come Dancing later this year. Bobby has been announced as one of 15 celebrities taking on the dancing challenge in a bid to walk home with the Glitterball trophy. EastEnders fans have been left stunned as one character revealed they have a big birthday coming up. During a conversation with Anna Knight, Bernadette Taylor explained that she turns 21 this week, although she isn't planning on marking the occasion, due to money troubles for the Taylor family.

Freddie's mum Little Mo Mitchell was raped by Graham in the Queen Vic, but the truth had always been kept from 18 year old Freddie.That was until he worked out the identity of his father and went to meet him for the first time. Following his meeting with Graham, a worried Kat Slater decided that it was time to reveal the truth.

A much-loved character from EastEnders is now almost unrecognisable from his days on the BBC soap. Charlie Clements, or Bradley Branning as he was best known around Albert Square, left viewers gutted when he exited the show back in 2010.
