BBC EastEnders fans believe there’s more to newcomer Nadine than her striking resemblance to the late Lola Pearce, as they believe they’ve figure out her identity. EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, who plays grieving Jay Brown in the BBC soap, has been meeting with Walford newcomer Nadine over the last few weeks after initially mistaking her for his late wife Lola Pearce, given the uncanny resemblance they bear.
The car salesman has been relatively quiet in Albert Square since Lola's death in late May, but things changed when viewers saw him meet Nadine (played by Jazzy Phoenix), an escort who bore a striking physical resemblance to his late wife. While nothing romantic between them has unfolded so far, some viewers think there is a good reason to suggest that Nadine is actually a figment of grieving Jay’s imagination instead of a real person, after uncovering 'proof'.
Nadine recently bumped into Jay and he ended up staying with her, finally being able to get some sleep with someone beside him. But on Reddit, confused fans discussed the possibility that Nadine isn't real at all.
