Coronation Street spoilers see Daisy Midgeley's stalking storyline take another terrifying turn as sinister Justin's dark link to her mother Christina is revealed. Only recently, Justin has been inflicting a terror campaign on Daisy after first meeting at hospital last year - and despite Daisy going to the police to report her stalker, they haven't taken her concerns seriously. In upcoming scenes, Daisy meets her mum, Christina, for lunch but when her mother introduces her new boyfriend...
Daisy is horrified to realise it’s Justin. Fearful that Justin may have found out the date of her wedding to Daniel Osbourne, a worried Daisy calls the venue and reschedules. And things go from bad to worse when the owner of the boutique calls at the pub and tells Daisy that they’ve had a call from Justin, accusing her of assault, so they're no longer willing to lend Daisy a dress.
Just when things couldn't get worse for Daisy, later, she hears the doorbell and checks her app to see it is Justin. However, despite ordering him to clear off, a shocked Daisy is terrified to find Justin standing in the living room, having got in the back door. At the end of the week, Daisy psyches herself up for the Stalking Protection Order hearing and in trepidation, switches her phone on - but is pleasantly surprised when there are no messages from Justin.
However, as Dee-Dee Bailey points out to the Judge that Justin has failed to attend while Daisy emotionally reveals how Justin has made her life a misery, the court door opens. Justin then enters as he tells the court that there seems to be some misunderstanding, he made friends with Daisy, he’s not a stalker. Will Daisy get the SPO?
