Lauren Mayberry has shared her second solo single ‘Shame’.The track, which she recently performed live during her solo show in London on Monday (October 9), follows her previous single ‘Are You Awake?’.The Chvrches’ frontwoman first teased the track, which had been previewed at shows on Mayberry’s recent North American headline tour, last week. Slauson Malone 1 is just about to release EXCELSIOR, the N.Y.C artist's third solo album and first under his new moniker (previously, it was just "Slauson Malone"). Out October 6 via Warp Records, EXCELSIOR will feature the Song You Need "Voyager," "New Joy," and now the newest single "Half-Life." Whereas "Voyager" continued to pull on the experimental jazz threads that Malone 1 relied on for his previous group Standing On The Corner, like "New Joy," "Half-Life" explores space-age, moody indie rock.

Agnetha Fältskog has released ‘I Should’ve Followed You Home’, a reimagined single from her forthcoming album ‘A+‘, which features Take That‘s Gary Barlow.The ABBA singer is sharing ‘A+’, a re-versioning of her 2013 solo album ‘A’ next month, and has today (September 29) released the new iteration of ‘I Should’ve Followed You Home’. It again features Barlow, and the vocals are the original recordings, however the music itself has been produced differently.Fältskog said of the single: “I have such happy memories with this song, and my first meeting with Gary! Duran Duran have shared their latest single, ‘Black Moonlight’ which features Nile Rodgers and former bandmate Andy Taylor.‘Black Moonlight’ is the second of three original tracks the band have created for their upcoming Halloween-inspired, mostly covers album ‘Danse Macabre‘. The track sees them reunite with Rodgers, who is their longtime friend and frequent collaborator. The Chic co-founder previously produced Duran Duran’s 1986 LP ‘Notorious’.

Bill Ryder-Jones has shared his latest single ‘This Can’t Go On’ and has announced his upcoming LP ‘Lechyd Da’.Serving as the lead single to Jones’ fifth studio album, ‘This Can’t Go On’ features strings lifted from a 1978 Flashlight song. Directed by James Slater, the video for the track sees a young schoolboy walking through Crail, Fife in Scotland. The video references the LP’s artwork which was painted by Dale Bissland.Speaking of ‘Lechyd Da’ in a press release, Jones shared his love for the album sharing: “I haven’t been this proud of a record since A Bad Wind Blows in My Heart.” The LP has been described as “rooted in love, loss, pain, heartache and often a deep darkness, but also one that frequently ends up in places of profound beauty, hope and joy” as per press release.“It’s my most produced record.

“Got Me Started” serves as the second single from Sivan’s forthcoming album Something To Give Each Other. That project is expected to arrive on October 13, so fans only need to hold on for a little less than a month before they can hear the set in its entirety.Sivan also released a music video for “Got Me Started” which is reminiscent of the one he produced for “Rush,” complete with plenty of choreography from both the singer himself and many other dancers (who, this time around, represent different body types and races).

Johnny Marr has announced a new compilation album ‘Spirit Power: The Best Of Johnny Marr’ and shared new single ‘Somewhere’.The former Smiths guitarist will release the new collection on November 3 via BMG, which will spotlight “the breadth of musicality across the first ten years” of Marr’s solo career, according to a press release – you can pre-order/pre-save the album here.The record will also include two brand new tracks produced by Marr along with co-producer James Doviak – ‘The Answer’ and ‘Somewhere’.
