One sign that often has people confused is the 'no return within one hour' warning often used in relation to street parking. Thankfully, a specialist on TikTok has provided a clear and concise explanation.
The Mirror reports that Annie, who's also known as @theorytestpractice on the video-sharing site, boasts over 825,000 followers thanks to her helpful clips on driving rules and regulations.
One of her most popular videos, which has amassed over 1.2 million views, surrounds the odd sign that has left countless people confused.
In the clip, she said: "I've been asked to explain signs like this one.
"This sign is saying that between Monday and Saturday, you can park between 8 o'clock in the morning and 6 o'clock at night, but only for one hour.
"No return within one hour - that simply means that you're not allowed to drive out of your parking space, drive around the block, and go straight back into that parking space.
"Well, not for an hour anyway," she added.
In the post's caption, she clarified the rule, saying: "At other times you can park for as long as you want to."
Since posting the helpful explainer, Annie's video has raked has raked in over 750 comments to date.
