Disney+ has revealed the release date for the highly-anticipated documentary about Coleen Rooney's legal battle with fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy.
Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story will see the mum-of-four finally speak out about the libel case, which gripped the nation in 2022. The story will be told through exclusive access to the woman at the heart of it all, alongside interviews with Coleen's family and legal team.
In 2019, Coleen went viral when she accused Rebekah, wife of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy, of leaking stories about her to the press. Taking to social media, Coleen shared how she'd posted fabricated private Instagram stories which were later covered by the media.

She then revealed the 'leaker' in question, with the iconic line: "‘It’s......Rebekah Vardy’s account". Rebekah publicly sued Coleen for libel over allegations she had leaked private stories about Coleen to the media.
Rebekah lost her case last summer and was instead ordered to pay £1.5m in legal costs to Coleen following the trial. Now, the Disney+ three-part series will uncover what was arguably one of the biggest tabloid news stories in the past decade.

As well as the case itself, it will explore how Coleen has had her life played out in public for the last 20 years, especially surrounding her relationship with one of the most famous footballers in England's history, her husband Wayne Rooney.
The Disney+ Original documentary is made by Dorothy Street Pictures and Lorton Entertainment, who previously worked with the Rooneys on the Amazon Prime Video documentary Roon
