McFly's Danny Jones has shared the adorable moment his six year old son, Cooper, found out that he was Piranha on The Masked Singer, as he won the series.
The celebrity contestants on the show must go to painstaking lengths to hide their identities from the public, which includes keeping it from their family and friends. So, Danny's young son had no idea that his dad was going to be on the show, and the moment he found out was truly priceless.
Danny's wife, Georgia, shared a video of her, Danny and Cooper sat at home as they watched the show on Saturday night, as winner Piranha finally took off his mask. Georgia wrote in the Instagram caption: "Thought something was a bit fishy @maskedsingeruk @dannyjonesofficial" Cooper could be heard shouting "take it off, take it off" at the television before his mouth dropped open in shock as he realised it was his dad.
He then jumped onto Danny's knee, screaming "it's Daddy!" as Danny beamed and planted a kiss on his son's face and gave him a big cuddle. Danny's celebrity pals rushed to comment on the clip, with The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett writing: "To be fair this was my reaction too..," whilst Fool Me Once star Michelle Keegan commented: "Awwwww bless him." Made in Chelsea's Proudlock added: "Love this bro! Yeah baby!!!," as Gogglebox's Mica Ven added a number of laughing emojis, plus a raised hand symbol.
