Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has furiously denied taking weight loss supplements, as she said that she is "absolutely incensed" that an online scammer has used her image to promote their product.
The 59 year old, who is loved for her role as Eileen Grimshaw on Corrie, has been displaying a noticeably slimmer frame over the past few years. Going from a size 16 to a size 12 back in 2019, the star lost three stone and is reported to have given her lifestyle an overhaul by adopting a Mediterranean diet full of nutritious food. She's been looking even slimmer lately, but if her fans think that her weight loss has anything to do with special products, judging by her latest post they can think again.
The star, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity...
Get Me Out Of Here! last year, shared a video to Instagram as she dressed casually in what appeared to be sportswear, whilst she went makeup-free and wore black-rimmed glasses. After wishing her followers 'good morning', Sue addressed speculation that she's used supplements to aid her weight loss, as she explained she continued to lose weight after her I'm a Celeb stint due to a health issue. She said: “I’m really, really sad that I have to actually make this video.
But, I’ve had quite a lot of messages over the last couple of weeks asking me about… keto dummies.” She continued: “There is obviously some scam going around saying that I lost weight using keto gummies. Dummies? I dunno. Well, it’s c**p.
It’s a scam. And if you’ve been taken in by it, I am so, so sorry.” Sue fumed about her anger that scammers had used her image to promote their products, as she said: “It’s outrageous. And I just want you to know that I would never, ever, ever advocate anything like that.
