Coronation Street 's Tanisha Gorey, Millie Gibson and Paddy Beaver looked worlds away from their on-screen characters on the National Television Awards red carpet on Thursday night. Tanisha, who plays Asha Alahan, Millie, who played Kelly Neelan, and Paddy, who plays Max Turner, all posed for a photo together. For the ceremony, Tanisha opted for a stylish red satin dress complete with matching necklace.
Millie, who left the ITV soap earlier this year, opted for a black figure-hugging gown as she wore her blonde locks in an up do. While Paddy, who is nominated for the Rising Star award, opted for a black shirt and grey suit. It comes as Coronation Street 's stars took to social media to share updates of their pre- National Television Awards celebrations and journey down to London's O2 on Thursday for the 2022 ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, and Millie Gibson, who played Kelly Neelan, shared updates with Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley.The Corrie cast all got a coach together from Manchester down to London for the star-studded event, which included a fun quiz and doughnuts stop. It comes as Millie left the ITV soap earlier this year as her character Kelly made a dramatic exit from the cobbles. During the scenes, Aadi Alahan got shot as he took a bullet for Kelly in a dramatic twist of events that left viewers shocked.
As Kieron turned his gun on Kelly and forced her to step on to the roof edge, he told her to jump before telling his associate to push her off. As Kieron told Gary Windass he would be shooting Kelly first before killing him, he fired the gun though to which Kelly's boyfriend Aadi appeared and shielded her from the bullet.
