Coronation Street's Millie Gibson looks completely different in 60s makeover after being seen in sizzling holiday snaps

Former Coronation Street star Millie Gibson couldn't look more different to her soap character as she was seen in new pictures for Doctor Who. The actress, who played Kelly Neelan in the ITV soap, revealed last November that she had been given the role of the new doctor's new companion.
She'll star in the upcoming series of the BBC Sc-Fi show alongside the 15th Doctor, played by Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa. Speaking of her new role at the time of the announcement, Millie said: "Whilst still being in total disbelief, I am beyond honoured to be cast as the Doctor’s companion. It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true, and I will do everything to try and fill the boots of the fellow companions have travelled in before me.
"And what better way to do that than being by the fabulous Ncuti Gatwa’s side, I just can’t wait to get started." Millie has since spent months working on the upcoming episodes, which will see her make her debut as Ruby Sunday this festive season.

And in a brand new tease from the BBC, Millie and Ncuti appeared to be travelling back to the 1960s in newly released photos. They are seen wearing 1960s-style outfits, with Ncuti, 30, sporting a double-breasted blue-and-white pinstripe suit complete with a white shirt, tie and facial sideburns.
Millie, 18, can be seen showing off a Swinging Sixties look with white knee-high boots and a black-and-cream dress. It comes after the BBC announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon will play a “major role” in the new series as the Doctor’s "most powerful enemy yet".
