Coronation Street star has joked that she 'doesn't know how to feel' after her nickname from her co-star was exposed on another ITV show. The actress, who is known for playing Amy Barlow in the ITV soap, supported her on-screen dad Simon Gregson as he took on Deal or No Deal.
The actor, famed for playing Corrie's Steve McDonald, took on the red boxes and the infamous banker in the latest celebrity version of the rebooted game show, now hosted by Stephen Mulhern. Simon, 49, appeared on the show in the hopes of winning money for charity and the episode came to a very tense conclusion.
At the end of the show, Simon was left with three potential winning amounts - a whopping £50,000, £4,000 or just £100. He was then offered a generous amount of £15, 300 from the banker and was left with the tough decision of whether to take the deal or not - which he eventually did.

In a cruel twist, if he had decided to carry on playing the banker revealed that the next amount he would have offered would have been £26,000 after he took out the £100 as he played on as if he hadn't dealt. Then at the end, it was revealed that he did in fact have the £50,000 box all along.
But supporting him throughout the game were his family, friends and co-star as they joined him on the show - including Elle. And in the episode, Stephen asked Simon, who had not long lost the highest amount of £100,000 at the time, who he wanted to open the next box, to which he cheekily replied: "She’s going to hate me for saying this, but smelly belly," referring to his on-screen daughter.
