Police are trying to trace an ex-Rangers medic who failed to show up at court to answer a charge of drink-driving.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Belgian Dr Olivier Materne, who left his youth academy role at Ibrox in June.
He was allegedly three times the limit when he was stopped by police in Partick, Glasgow, on December 16. He is also facing counts of driving a vehicle with no tax or MoT.
Materne denied the charges when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court in April and was due to stand trial last Friday but he didn’t appear at a preliminary hearing on August 11. Materne is believed to be living in France.
The Crown Office refused to comment.
