Christine McGuinness is reportedly hiring a celebrity divorce lawyer nicknamed "Pitbull" amid her split from her ex, Paddy McGuinness. It's been claimed that the 35 year old has been in talks with the formidable Catherine Bedford - who has successfully represented a string of famous faces - in a bid to remain in the sprawling £4 million Cheshire property she shares with Paddy and their three children: Penelope, nine, and twins Felicity and Leo, seven. Catherine is known for dealing with high profile cases, and has previously helped Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner following her divorce from Joe Jonas.
She is also credited for securing a reported £31 million payout for Lisa Armstrong, the ex wife of TV legend, Ant McPartlin. As for Christine and her fight for a multi million pound settlement, it's said that she'll be meeting with the reputable lawyer on Tuesday in London, where Catherine will be representing the former The Real Housewives of Cheshire star. A source from The Sun shared Christine's reasons for selecting Catherine, explaining that she "really wanted to work with a woman during her divorce," and that she is one of the best in the business.
"Christine wants to stay in the house she's lived in as a family for many years. She's poured many hours of love, care and attention into it. It would be heartbreaking to have to leave the property after all this time and uproot her life," they added.
