Christian Eriksen is pleased with his first year at Manchester United, despite picking up an injury during the campaign.
Eriksen was Erik ten Hag's second signing at the club and the midfielder was brought to Old Trafford on a free transfer following a stint with Brentford, who offered him the chance to return to the Premier League after his cardiac arrest.
The 31-year-old quickly became popular among supporters and he regularly played alongside Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes in a three-man midfield, contributing two goals and 10 assists across all competitions.

Eriksen made 25 league starts but he would have made more if not for sustaining an ankle injury in late January. That issue sidelined him for two months and he returned to action in April to play a part in the business end of the season.
In an interview with club media this week, Eriksen reflected on his first year at United and he admitted he was pleased with it.
"I’m very happy, very glad [with my decision] looking back on everything that happened," he said. "Of course, I was unfortunate with an injury in the middle of it but we can forget there was a World Cup in the middle of the season, which broke it up.
"I’m pleased with my first season. I had a lovely summer break with my family, which was really nice to switch off and just focus on being on a trip with them. It was a long season, but I think every season is always tough.
"You always feel like you need a break. This season was no different, it was just nice to have a few weeks off and to be somewhere else. It’s nice to be back and to be with the guys. Everyone has enjoyed a holiday, so the vibe and feeling is good.
