Believe it or not, it’s almost time for the first round of Celebrity Big Brother evictions - and we already know who will face the public vote. Big Brother has revealed that Gary Goldsmith and Lauren Simon will be the first housemates to face the vote from viewers ahead of the first live eviction of the series on Friday 8 March.
Revealed on tonight’s (March 7) episode of Celebrity Big Brother, the celebs learned that Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren received the most votes from her fellow housemates this week meaning either she or Gary will be leaving the first to exit the show on Friday. The public already knew that Gary, who is Kate Middleton’s uncle, was up for eviction having been previously chosen by celebrity ‘lodger’ Sharon Osbourne who had the power to nominate one housemate to face the first live eviction.
Being the very first ‘lodger’ of the show, Sharon was revealed to only be staying in the house for a few days - but would still be making an impact. And surely enough, Sharon was set a task on Monday 4 March with judging her housemates and picking who would be up for eviction - resulting in Gary’s nomination.
What Sharon didn’t realise while making her decision in the episode that aired on Wednesday 6 March where she called Gary "awkward" and "insecure", was that all of the housemates were watching. The rest of the housemates however were then tasked in picking the next celebrity and Lauren received six nominations from Bradley Riches, Colson Smith, Marisha Wallace and Gary.
Nikita Kuzmin also voted for Lauren and said she was still "playing her TV character" and Zeze Millsz who said Lauren was "picky". Zeze was voted multiple times, once by Ekin-Su who said Zeze caused "tension" during a discussion
