Celebrity Big Brother fans couldn't believe their ears, as it seems contestant Louis Walsh didn't understand the "basic concept" of the show.
The former X Factor judge seemed confused over how the show worked when being interviewed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
The 71-year-old finished fourth place and made it all the way to the final, seemingly without knowing what he was in for. During his exit interview, he told the presenters: "We had no information." When asked by Will about his role as a "producer" in the drama between housemates, Louis replied by revealing he was shocked to have no contact with the outside world.
"I was watching it, and I was wondering how I was doing in ratings," he said. "We had no information, we had no phone, nobody, nothing." He added: "We were locked in for like three weeks" to which AJ replied: "This surprises no one but you." Will added: "Whoever booked you was a genius.
Because they clearly didn't tell you anything." Having no contact with the outside world and being locked in an environment with other contestants is practically the whole concept of Big Brother. Fans couldn't help but laugh, realising that Louis hadn't seemed to understand the concept before entering the Big Brother house.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: "Louis just now discovering the concept of the entire show." Another added: "Louis finding out that he’d actually be locked in a house without a phone and all of his ex housemates are in the studio with him is killing me. Bless him, he’s never watched the show let alone know what it’s called." While a third said: "Louis recounting the entire series and explaining the entire premise of Big Brother during his eviction interview is the funniest
