Carol Vorderman and Paul Burrell have been knocked out of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa in the latest shocking twist from the ITV series. The duo unfortunately missed their opportunity to become I'm A Celeb legends, following Helen Flanagan and Dean Gaffney's exit a day earlier, as the show final airs in less than 24 hours. The final six campmates faced another tricky survival Bushtucker Trial as soon as the episode kicked off.
Ant and Dec told the remaining stars they were being tasked with getting through a Vile Vineyard, a tough trial packed with critters. The celebrities that were the slowest, then had to pack their bags. Countdown legend Carol, 62, had been a fan-favourite on the show, and was regularly a decent performer in the Bushtucker Trials. Former Royal butler Paul, 64, was less of a success, and regularly spent his trials screaming and crying as he struggled with the challenges presented to him.
Despite that, the loss of both stars in camp was huge for the rest of the group, who are now finalists in the show. Myleene Klass, Phil Tuffnell, Fatima Whitbread and Jordan Banjo were later tasked with dressing up in their best superhero outfits as they proceeded to take on the show's most iconic and final trial - the cyclone. It was a far cry from the likes of the Australia edition, where celebrities were faced with clean water and bursts of wind. The South African edition featured much more mud, as the stars had to swim through ditches and dodge brown muddy balls.
