On Wednesday evening in the quarterfinals, Carlos will face off against USA’s Taylor Fritz, who stars in Netflix’s tennis docu-series Break Point. The show will return with Part 2 in June 2023.
“I watch a lot of [Taylor] matches, so I know him a little bit,” Carlos shared during his post-match press conference. “[I haven't been able to] practice [or play] with him, so it’s going to be really tough, new opponent for me, a new style of game for me [to compete with]. But I’m gonna be focused on me [and my game, play relaxed], smile on court. That’s the key [to] everything for me.”
