Cara Delevingne and Shailene Woodley are set to star in a creative biopic about acclaimed author Patricia Highsmith.
Shailene will bring the author to life in the movie, which is titled The Murderous Miss Highsmith and aims to reimagine Patricia‘s life as a horror movie.
Cara and co-star Noemie Merlant will play Patricia‘s lovers.

According to Deadline, The Murderous Miss Highsmith will highlight Patricia‘s relationships with two women and draw parallels between her love life and “her fascination with gruesome murders.”
It will reportedly cover the time in Patricia‘s life leading up to the release of her celebrated novel The Talented Mr. Ripley.
The project is expected to begin filming later this year in Italy. Alexandra Pechman will handle directorial duties.
If you were unaware, Patricia‘s novel The Price of Salt laid the groundwork for 2015′s Carol, which starred Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara.
