A man charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon has been remanded in custody ahead of a crown court hearing.

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Salford.
The victim - a man aged in his 30s - was taken to hospital following the stabbing at Oakhill Court on Mandley Park Avenue at around 5pm on Wednesday (February 15). He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, police said.
Callum Shelton, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with attempted murder. The 22-year-old has been remanded into custody.

He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (February 17). Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
