A probe has been launched after a body was discovered near a Scots beauty spot on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Kinnoull Hill area of Perth around 1pm today following the discovery of a body.
Recovery of the body from the area is currently under way.
Enquiries into the identity of the person and the circumstances surrounding their death are at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1pm on Friday, 3 February, 2023, police were called to the Kinnoull Hill area of Perth, following the discovery of a body.
"Recovery is underway and enquiries into the identity and circumstances are at an early stage."
