Italian Big Brother star Monica Sirianni has passed away aged 37 after collapsing in a bar in Italy.
According to reports, the reality TV star fell ill suddenly on Friday night during an evening out with friends in Sauveria Mannelli, a town in the province of Catanzaro, writes The Mirror.
It's believed that Monica was rushed to hospital but tragically died not long after being admitted. A cause of death has not yet been established.
Fans took to Twitter as the news of her death broke.
One penned: "At the time I still watched the program and I remember it, I'm very sorry! A hug to the family."
Another wrote: "OMG…. I'm so sorry, condolences to the family."
Monica was a contestant on the 12th season of the Italian version of Big Brother, which aired between 2011 and 2012. She stayed in the house for around a month before being evicted.
Italian media are reporting the reality TV star was enjoying a night out with her friends in a club when she suddenly collapsed to the ground.
It's reported doctors are not ruling out Monica suffered a heart attack but an investigation into her cause of death is still ongoing.
