BBC Strictly star 'heartbroken' over sudden exit as friends lend support

Katya Jones has shared her 'heartbreak' after an unexpected exit from Strictly Come Dancing after her celebrity partner Nigel Harman injured himself during rehearsals.
The former EastEnders star, 50, had to leave the BBC show at the quarter-final stage on Saturday due to a rib injury, something both he and Katya were heartbroken by. Nigel, 50, explained to shocked viewers during the broadcast that he had an accident while jumping from a rostrum, which led to a trip to A&E. With no other option, Nigel and Katya had to withdraw from the series.
Now, Katya has spoken about her disappointment at the early exit and sent a message to Nigel as she's upported by her friends and followers. Taking to Instagram the dancing pro, 34, shared a series of photos of herself and Nigel, which she captioned: "And here we are. [heartbroken emoji] What an abrupt ending.
But when the dust has settled , I know only beautiful memories will remain in my heart. [heart emoji] "When we turned up every day and had our coffees, when we would have discussions about the story of our dance and our characters, every time you made me laugh, every time you gave me a reassuring hug.
