Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has been flooded with support as she shared emotional 'wish' while revealing her dad's diagnosis. Last month, the dancer sparked concern on the dance show when she appeared less than her usual bubbly self alongside celebrity partner Bobby Brazier.
The Australian dancer later bravely opened up about the "difficult time" she had been having away from the dance floor, revealing that she received some concerning news about her dad’s health.
She said in the YouTube video at the time: ""Last week I got some news about my dad’s health. I’m not going to go into detail, but obviously that affected me. Being away from home and not being able to support and help your family in a time of need is quite a difficult thing."

Then earlier this month, she posted a photo of her dad, Mark, lying in a hospital bed. In the snap, Mark was seen smiling at the camera while wired up to a machine. Next to him were a bunch of balloons, one of which included a bright yellow smiley face design.
Alongside the image, Dianne wrote: "Love you so much dad. Sending all my healing wishes and energy your way." She also tagged her dad, whilst also calling him her "hero".
Now though, Dianne has share more about her dad's diagnosis. On Thursday (November 16), the 34-year-old took to Instagram to wish her father well ahead of his first round of chemotherapy treatment. Sharing a photo of Mark waving to the camera from his hospital bed, the dancer penned in the caption: "I'm so proud of you dad [red heart emoji].
