Amanda Abbington was jokingly corrected by her partner as she shared how she's keeping busy since her Strictly Come Dancing exit. The actress was among the 15 famous faces who signed up to the BBC One dance contest this year and was making strides in the competition alongside dancer Giovanni Pernice.
She was receiving high praise from the judges but suddenly pulled out of one live show due to "medical reasons". Days later, ahead of a planned return to the show for its Halloween special which took place on Saturday night (October 28), it was revealed that Amanda had dramatically pulled out of Strictly due to "personal reasons".
The news was confirmed during Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, before the Sherlock star addressed her exit the following day Commenting on Instagram alongside a picture of her dancing shoes, Amanda wrote: “It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue."

Amanda hasn't spoken about leaving Strictly since and was distracted during the live show with support from Hollywood actor Simon Pegg. And she has now seemed to show how she's keeping busy at home with a spot of decorating.
However, her adorable pet pooches appear to be getting into a bit of trouble along the way. Sharing a picture of one of the Dachshunds on Instagram with green around their nose while sat next to a tub of white paint, Amanda wrote: "Get a dog they said, it’ll be fun they said, get two they said, that’ll be even better
