Strictly Come Dancing fans have shared their concern after spotting Giovanni Pernice back in the ballroom. The dancer was forced to withdraw from the BBC One dance contest after his celebrity dance partner Amanda Abbington confirmed she couldn't continue.
The actress would have been due to return to the ballroom on Saturday night (October 28) for the show's annual Halloween special after missing last weekend's show due to "medical reasons".
However, it was announced earlier this week that Amanda would be leaving the BBC One dance contest due to "personal reasons". During Monday night’s episode of Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, it was confirmed that the Sherlock star would be dropping out before she addressed her exit the following day.

Sharing a picture of her dancing shoes on Instagram on Tuesday, Amanda wrote: “It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue."
The show did, however, continue on Saturday night with the planned elimination still set to be revealed following a dance-off during Sunday night's results show (October 29). But fans watching at home couldn't help but spot Giovanni as he returned to join his fellow dancers and their celebrity partners in the 'Claudatorium'.
