Former Strictly Come Dancing star Aljaz Skorjanec has issued a plea to fans as he was supported by Gemma Atkinson over his heartbreaking loss. The BBC One show's family of past and present dancers and celebrities have been paying tribute following the death of Robin Windsor.
It was announced on Tuesday morning (February 20) that the dance contest's former star, from 2010 to 2014, had tragically died, aged 44. Robin's death was confirmed by Sisco Entertainment, which represented him in various areas of theatre and corporate entertainment.
The statement read: "It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved friend, Robin Windsor. Robin’s presence in Come What May was more than just a performance; it was an embodiment of passion, grace, and sheer talent. His extraordinary ability to express emotion through movement captivated audiences, leaving them spellbound with every step."

It added: "Beyond his impeccable dancing, Robin’s vibrant spirit lit up the room, infusing rehearsals and performances with infectious energy and warmth. His laughter was contagious, his kindness boundless. His friendship was a gift cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robin, you will be deeply missed."
Tributes have since been pouring in for Robin from a number of Strictly stars. The show's host Tess Daly shared: "Such terribly sad news today. Gone too young @robinwindsor. Your infectious personality, energy and talent will be deeply missed by all who knew you. My heart goes out to your loved ones at this time."
