BBC Hairy Bikers' Si King in emotional update on final project with Dave Myers as fans support

Fans of the Hairy Bikers have flooded Si King with support as he shared an emotional update on his final project with Dave Myers. The much-loved TV chef died in February, just under two years after he revealed he’d been diagnosed with cancer in May 2022.
Best friend Si announced the sad news of Dave's death in a heartbreaking message shared on social media, in which he confirmed he, Dave's wife Liliana Orzac, his family and close friend David were all by his side as he sadly passed on February 28, aged 66.
Following his death, it was revealed that Dave and Si's latest cookery series, Hairy Bikers Go West, would continue to air in his memory and the final episode of the series left viewers in tears as it marked Dave's last onscreen appearance in emotional scenes.

Now, Si has received another wave of support after he promoted the Hairy Bikers' latest book, 'Fast and Fresh', on Instagram. Posting on the account he once shared with his co-star and close pal, the 57-year-old looked visibly moved in a video where he announced the release of the cookbook that he says Dave was "so proud of".
Clutching a copy of the book, he said: "Hello everyone it's Si here. Fast and Fresh from The Hairy Dieters is available tomorrow. Thank you if you pre-ordered, it's hugely appreciated."
Si went on to express his and Dave's love for creating the book, mentioning: "It was a book that Dave and I really loved working on, so yeah there's 80 delicious and easy recipes, easy as I know we're all pushed for time these days. I don't know how that
