Fans of EastEnders tuned in last night (December 25) for the explosive Christmas Day episode where a murder was finally unveiled. Viewers of the BBC soap have been waiting 10 months to find out who was killed in the Queen Vic - and who the Christmas killer could be.
In February this year, to mark the soap's anniversary, a unique flash-forward episode aired which teased a huge storyline involving 'The Six'. The six women, Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal), found themselves surrounding a dead body in the pub on Christmas Day.
Over the last year, fans have been eagerly awaiting to find out 'who did it' and who would be leaving the Albert Square forever. And finally, after months of hints and drama, viewers got their answer on Christmas Day.

Each of the six women had come across male counterparts who could easily have been the victim - and they each had their motives. But in Monday night's Christmas special, it was revealed that the body belonged to Keanu Taylor, who was killed by Linda.
The episode saw Sharon walk down the aisle to marry Keanu, before Phil Mitchell arrived to tell his ex that Keanu was behind the kidnap. Sharon called the wedding off and she later revealed that Keanu wasn't her son Albie's father - and that it was Phil instead.
