Austin Butler opened up about two of his biggest auditions to date in a new interview.
The 31-year-old Oscar-nominee shared the moment when he was auditioning for Baz Luhrmann‘s Elvis and thought that he might have lost the role during a conversation with Variety.
He also recalled what can only be described as a whirlwind audition for Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
While he wound up nailing both of those auditions, Austin revealed how he deals with rejection in the industry.
He also recalled an unforgettable encounter with Robert Downey Jr. where he was able to teach the Marvel Cinematic Universe icon a thing or two.
