FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have confirmed an August release date for their upcoming sci-fi game Armored Core 6: Fires Of Rubicon, with a new gameplay trailer showcasing the game in action.Armored Core 6 will arrive on August 25, 2023 — just over 11 years since the last mainline Armored Core game was released.As for platforms, the upcoming game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and has been priced at £49.99 on Steam.The first gameplay trailer for Armored Core 6 was shared today (April 27), revealing players piloting a customisable mech and pitting it against a wide variety of rival robots.Check out the trailer below.The trailer confirms that players’ mechs will be highly customisable, with the protagonist using everything from cluster rockets to lasers to take down opponents; while one scene shows the player swapping their mech’s legs for tank tracks.While FromSoftware is yet to touch on the game’s plot, the Steam page for Armored Core 6 says players will “pilot their mech in fast-paced, omni-directional battles, taking advantage of massive stages and their mech’s mobility on land and in the air to ensure victory”.“Customise Armored Core parts to suit a large variety of playstyles,” the page continues.
“Selecting different parts not only changes the mech’s attacks, but also directly affects its movement and battle style, so each mission can be approached with a unique mech strategy.”The game will be published and jointly developed by Bandai Namco, the same company to publish Fromsoftware’s 2022 hit Elden Ring and its Dark Souls series.Speaking of which, Fromsoftware has claimed that Armored Core 6 has been based on “the knowledged gained” from its recent action games.However, this

Ethan Shanfeld HBO is bringing back its most beloved ultra-rich adult children fighting for the family business. I’m talking, of course, about the Gemstones. Danny McBride’s absurdist megachurch comedy returns for Season 3 on June 18, as “The Righteous Gemstones” unveiled the first trailer for its next installment. The high-octane teaser clip features monster trucks, high-speed racing and none other than Steve Zahn, who appears to play a well-dressed rival to Jesse, Judy and Kelvin Gemstone (played respectively by McBride, Edi Patterson and Adam DeVine). John Goodman also stars as the Gemstone family patriarch, alongside series regulars Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, Tony Cavalero and Walton Goggins. The official Season 3 logline from HBO reads, “When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imagined and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price.”

Motörhead‘s rare 1998 cover of Metallica‘s ‘Enter Sandman’ has finally been released on all major streaming platforms.First recorded in 1998 as part of a compilation album for wrestling company ECW Wrestling, the track was only available via CD – and illegal rips posted online – until now. In celebration of Motörhead Day (May 8), the Grammy-nominated cover track has now been made available on all platforms.The newly released track also comes with an animated music video, in which a child is plagued by nightmares of an evil sandman, and is saved by Motörhead’s Warpig mascot.Beside the rare track’s digital release, a limited-edition 7″ vinyl edition of Motörhead’s ‘Enter Sandman’ cover – featuring an B-side etching of the Motörhead Warpig – is available via the band’s website.In January this year, drummer Mikkey Dee said that the band will “never, ever, ever tour” under the Motörhead name again.
