Manchester city centre is an ever-changing landscape, with different routes and changes to roads popping up constantly as things constantly evolve.
This year has seen changes to the Deansgate area, with a new bus gate on Bridge Street aiming to improve commute times for passengers travelling in and out of the city.
But complaints have been made from drivers recently, with one person complaining of being stuck around Quay Street and Deansgate for hours earlier this month.

It has seen a debate kick off over the layout of the city centre and how people travel across it, with one person saying: "Way too many cars with 1 person going on a short trip in them."
Another shared a similar view, saying: "Roads clogged by lots of ever larger cars, nearly all with a single occupant. A ridiculous waste of scarce road space. A silly way to get about an urban area."
However, some people put forward opposing views, with one reader responding: "Manchester city centre is an absolute joke for motorists."
Another shared their frustration at the new bus gate on Bridge Street, saying: "The new bus gates are a disgrace just causing more traffic jams."
But others were quick to point out the potential benefits, with one person sharing their experiences saying: "I love it, it makes my bus journey a lot faster. Nobody wanted to pay a congestion charge so this is the alternative."
